ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Firefighters in the Rome area are battling a fire reported at the Rome Animal Hospital on 6161 Lamphear Road Friday night.The call for the fire came just around 7 p.m. Smoke and flames were visible from the structure.
The fire happened in the crematory area of the hospital. There is fire damage to the roof of the building.
Authorities said there were two dogs in the building at the time of the fire.
There were no injuries.
